Mouse Hunt!

By Chowdapa

Once upon a time there was a rat. He was the king of all rats. He was thrice as big and twice as fast and could jump feets high. And he once chose to come to C-124 to have a hell of a time and to make our lifes a living hell! Lol, this was during the weekends when rd went home and it was just me and guns at C-124. If rd was there it wouldnt have been a problem as he has this tarzan instinct in him and he would have guffawed if he saw the rat then he would hold the rat in his own hands and the poor rat would have died getting choked inside rd's huge hands but this rat would have not, infact it was too big for even rd's hands! Now let me tell you about guns, he is huge and heavily built [you can see his pics below] but he is sacred to enter his room when he thinks there is a lizard hiding somewhere! He calls me all the time and I have to search for it and get it out of his room and when it is out then he runs inside his room and shuts the door! So I couldnt expect much of a help from him except a backup[as he was stuck to my back during the mission].

This champ found a way through inside our flat when we forgot to close our front door for a minute. We were just back from our gym and we were about to rest after our strenuous work out. Thats when we saw this huge rat, almost as big as a cat, running fast inside our house and it then went straight inside a hollow space behind our computer table where all the old tenant's stuff are dumped. It was the possibly best place to hide as we would not dare touch that area as there were piles of dust and if we try to clear the area then we would have to end up cleaning the whole house! So we left it there and decided to carry on i.e rest. But then we started hearing loud noises from that area and things started falling out from there. The rat was literally screwing the place! I knew that this rat aint gonna let us rest and most probably not let us sleep the whole night! Guns too started compelling me to get rid of this rat. So we took out 2 sticks and we started hitting the area and then ran back to avoid any counter attack. But as we were pretty inexperienced in doing this, we forgot the basic rule i.e we should close all our rooms before getting the rat out. We did open the door for the rat to go out but our room's door was wide open welcoming the monster to get in. The rat came out when I hit the place hard but it came right onto us which made us back off and coz of that we couldnt stop it making an entry into my room. This time I was furious and guns was laughing at my face as by chance his door was closed. Now I had to do something fast else he will run over my bed and eat up my clothes! This time I closed other rooms and the bathroom and I went inside my room and started beating hard everywhere, the rat had to come out and finding other rooms closed it was jumping high and banging on the doors hard as if it is gonna break the door open! Now we were a bit sacred as this was happening pretty close to us and in open and we could see the size of the rat clearly and we realised that it was not just another rat, it was the godzilla among the rats! It banged the doors for about 2 minutes esp the bathroom door and then went out. But hey! The kitchen door was open and it went straight inside the kitchen! Now the rat has found the right place and we could sense our night without dinner. The rat seeing all the food and crockery went at it like a bull in china town and we were a bit sacred to get in as the kitchen is quite small and there is a possibility for the rat to jump straight on us as we get in. Guns was pushing me from behind as I tried by best to surge up some courage to face this little.. sorry big devil! That is when he came onto the entrance on the top corner of the kitchen door for the final battle! He had his eyes looking straight on to mine. I ran inside and then hit the door and when he jumped out I ran right behind him. This time even guns was brave enough not to let him go into the wrong direction and we successfully led him outside the door and out of C-124 for ever! It was 1am by then and luckily maid had kept our food on the computer table. So we had food and slept after a long long day of battle and sweat.
